King Crab comes in Red, Blue, and Gold species. There are small differences in shape, color and taste. Red King Crab is the cadillac crab that is fished up in Alaska in the Bering Sea. Red King Crab is preferred in taste over Snow Crab, but price may have you jump on board with Snow crab, which is really good as well. King Crab is usually spotlighted in White Table Restaurants.
