Butterfish is also known as Pacific Pompano. Seems to be popular in Japanese and Caribbean cooking. This fish is not to be mixed up with "butterfish" in Hawaii.
Cooking Methods
Pan fry or bake the whole fish, or fillet and steam fillets.
